The Arizona Board of Regents governs Northern Arizona University (NAU), which is a well-known public research university. The NAU Alumni Association represents over 160,000 alumni from across the United States. United States Navy Vice Admiral Robin Braun, former Arizona governor Ral Héctor Castro, actor Seamus Dever, New York Times Best Selling Author Diana Gabaldon, and well-known athlete Lopez Lomong are among the famous members of the institution’s alumni network.
