California State University is a public university in California. Long Beach, sometimes known as ‘The Beach,’ was founded in 1949 as Los Angeles-Orange County State College. With its 322-acre campus, The University is the third-largest of the 23 California State University (CSU) institutes. It boasts one of the greatest student enrollments in the state of California.
